Dear families, welcome!
My name is Angie and I have had the privilege of working for children as a licensed child care provider for over twenty years. Being able to guide children during their first five years of life has been a special honor, as it is during this time that a child undergoes a pivotal period of development. As a childcare professional, I have an Associate degree in Child Development and certifications in CPR, Health and Safety, and child development workshops.
My qualifications and years of experience have allowed me to provide the children in my care with enriching experiences and a safe and supportive environment.
On both a professional and personal level, I am constantly learning and growing. I enjoy challenging myself through personal development courses and strive to become the most authentic version of myself. I value empathy, integrity, and honesty, and aspire to create healthy relationships with the families I work with based on these values.

At Abie family childcare, we recognize the uniqueness of each child. Our focus on personalized attention and our small teacher to child ratio allows us to understand the different learning styles, strengths, and needs of our children.
Our dedicated teacher's aides are certified by the Department of Social Services and have completed a wide variety of Early Childhood Education workshops.
Our Mission
At Abie family childcare, children are at the center of their learning experience. This is why we methodically plan and implement our curriculum based on their interests, needs, and curiosity. We also value play as a fundamental part of a child’s development and constantly promote learning through developmentally appropriate, play-based activities.
We understand the crucial role the environment plays as a child’s third teacher, therefore providing a safe and stimulating environment is our top priority. Our diverse space for play and discovery includes reading, art, music, and dance areas, a nap room, and a backyard for outdoor activities. Our beloved staff and myself are proud to offer language programs in Spanish to support bilingual families or any family interested in engaging their child in a culturally diverse environment.
Our philosophy and values have allowed us to create a safe and enriching environment that promotes creativity, curiosity, and learning for our children.
